The Biology 1114 Authorware tutorials use several multimedia
components to deliver content. These primarly include Macromedia's Flash
and Authorware, which require Browser plug-ins to be installed.
In order to view ALL the material on our web site, you must have
ALL of the following software installed. Because of the complexity
of our material some pages may require different plug-ins. i.e. If a link
fails to work, you should check to see if you have the specific plug-ins.
Note:
-While most modern multimedia Windows based PCs or Macs will run the
software from this site, many of the tutorials are large and require high-speed
Internet connections, i.e. using a 56K modem will require a LOT of patience.
- The video-lectures found under study tips use streaming QuickTime,
but at this time they will not work with a 56K modem.
- Macintosh computers will play our tutorials but will not use some of
the interactive course components. At this time we recommend using a PC
to view the tutorials.
